Fishing equipment

I have not yet been blessed with a boat, so I wade fish exclusively. So anyone who is in the same situation knows that you have to carry EVERYTHING on your person while your in the water, unlike someone with a boat can just leave stuff in the boat while they get out and wade. SO unless you enjoy watching your money drop into the water and carried away by the tide, EVERYTHING has to be secured to your person in some fashion.

I would like to know if there is currently any type of "All purpose" lanyard out on the market. One that I could fix onto a D ring or loop of waders/pants. A lot like the cool little braid clippers you buy that has the lanyard built into it... but I need to be able to attach ANYTHING to them like net, pliers, Boga, fish grips... etc. and of course would need to be stainless steal or plastic to withstand salt conditions.

Point being you already have a long stringer or do-net floating around you, I'm looking for something that will help keep things ON me, and not HANGING/FLOATING around me, but yet quickly accessible . Any ideas or suggestions??
