Not particularly because I'm going to be needing one or be buying one but I would like to know what is needed to reliably catch tuna behind the shrimp boats.
I know there are lots of options so I would say I'm more interested in how much line, lb test, and drag is needed to catch them. I've looked for this information but haven't been able to find it. I find were a lot of people say 50W but that don't tell me much because it could be spooled with 550 yards of 80lb mono or 1500 yards of 130lb braid. The latter I'm assuming is how they are spooled. Then how much drag is typically being used? I'm assuming around 30lb?
