I have a Baby Cat that I got the micro anchor for and I have been through 2 of them already. JL Marine has been real good about replcing them. Issue is the tunnel sprays water on the unit and it is frying the electronics. I think maybe I should just upgrade to the Power pole Sportsman 2 but I keep my boat at a marina on a lift. And since the PP units dont have any quick release funtionality Im worried about theft. Are these units stolen quite a bit or since they bolt on the thieves leave them alone? I have insurance but with a lot of fraud they say for theft it is 2x the deductible. That would be a grand, so that wont make much sense.
