Key West tips

In november I will be heading to Key west for a weekend with the wife and a few friends. We will be staying at Key West Naval Air Station, they have some cabins you can rent. I believe these are on Trumbo Point? We would be leaving from Sigsbee Marina.



Any advice for fishing in that area? We are both stationed in Savannah, so we fish the coast there, and I fished the texas coast. We wont be in a flats boat, but I bet we can get pretty skinny, we will be in whatever boat they rent at Sigsbee. Any fishing tips would be greatly appreciated. My buddy likes more of the offshore/bottom fishing type stuff. I like more of the inshore stuff.



Either way, any input on general areas to hit, and the methods you would use to target fish there would be much appreciated. We are googling as much as possible, and will continue to do our research up until November on how to go about it.



Also, we would like to take the wives out snorkeling. Any input on that as well would be great. I think we can get places to go from the marina, but the more ideas on that the better. I understand we can go for lobster? Everything I have read says they will pretty much be all undersize by that time if you do manage find any. We will see what we can come up with.
