Recently the brakes on my leased work vehicle started squealing so I took it in for service. The vehicle has nearly 70k miles on it and they found for the second time the rear brakes were worn down to next to nothing. The front brakes on this vehicle have never needed replacement. Is this backwards? I always thought the fronts were supposed to wear faster than the rear. I've had several of these vehicles over the years and this has never happened. I rarely use the parking brake and never drive around with it depressed. Is it possible the brakes on my vehicle are hooked up backwards to the master cylinder?
