My place here in Utopia is right under a military fly zone. Aircraft from the airbases run their low and high altitude training in this area, so it's not uncommon to see T-38's and T-1's flying at 350'.
Saturday I was taken by surprise, and by time I located the craft it was going away from me. First thought C-130 (not uncommon to see them here) because of the cargo door on the rear. Then it registered not a C-130 as I know them. Difference was it had 6 turbine engines instead of the usual 4.
Don't have my Jane's aircraft book with me, and Google didn't turn up anything.
Anyone have any ideas?
