Jigging Action!!! Lake Livingston 5/16

My son missed school and went fishing with me today! We had a blast! Left the house at 3:45 to beat the traffic and try our luck at some first light stripers. Our boat didn't land any stripers, but we did manage a few whites on top! Gotta love that top water action! We catfished the bulkheads for half an hour or so, but the sky was clear and the catfish didn't stay long. We managed a couple, and left to find the whites on humps. We found a few in some areas, but finally found the mother load!!!! Thanks Again Bruce Almighty! We limited out in an hour and then stayed till evening and prob caught 300-400 whites! I tied on a 2oz striper slab I got free with an online order and the little whites wouldn't leave it alone. They were biting off more than they can chew, ha! I was out fishing my son with that large butter knife slab for a while. The fish were so aggressive.

My son and I learned our jigging techniques from Lake Livingston Adventures a few weeks ago. Chris & Michael took our spring/summer fishing to another level! Thanks Guys!

While we were grabbing a burger at Browders, an older/pretty girl walked up to my son and gave him her number. This topped off an epic day of fishing for my son! He was smiling so BIG :)
