I am just curious to see how many different ways you can hook a live bait. As for live shrimp, I would hook through the top part of the head under the spines. But I lose the shrimp mostly due to fish not biting the head. As for live croaker, I would hook through the eyes, but after the fish bite, I would pull up the line, and all that is left is just the head. So is there an better way to hook them with a good chance of a hook up?
