"Frosted" headlight cure?

I'm looking to get both plastic headlight "lens" on an '05 Toyota Corolla back to their original shine. Does anyone have a good product or 'recipe' to accomplish this task?



I'm wondering if 2000 grit wet sanding would do the trick.
