Interesting in getting a hydration pack for wade fishing. Searched and didnt see a lot on this so my question is if you were to choose between a Geigerrig and Camelbak (from links below) which would you choose? Not asking if I should or not or other alternatives blah blah - just thoughts on the these two or if there are personal experiences, great...
From my perspective, Camelbak is small, light-weight and would seem least intrusive for wade fishing... May not be as bad if water were to get on it. Only thing is I heard they are not as easy to clean the bladder and could get moldy...
Geigerrig most have probably not heard of but has some neat features - there is a pump so water squirts out which could be good for other uses like in case you drop your reel in the water, the bladder is dishwasher-able which may mean its easier to clean and seems more versatile for besides fishing... Downsides are it seems more bulky, potentially heavier...
Anyway, appreciate the thoughts and any personal experiences!
