Which Garmin unit to choose????

I am thinking of purchasing the Garmin GPSMAP 741xs GPS Chartplotter with Sounder for around 1,500.00. I am pretty sold on Garmin and would really appreciate opinions if I should go with the GPSMAP 741xs, or would I be better off with a different Garmin unit for that price range? I plan to fish for snapper and other reef fish like most on this board.
