One more ? on Win 7

After a time period my computer screen goes black/blank and that's okay but when I hit the space bar or click it opens a Win 7 startup screen showing my user name and a message that says blocked. If I click on it,it takes me to my Desktop which is where I want to go but I'd like to go there direct from the black/blank screen,is there a way to bypass the Win 7 start up screen?
