Fishing windy conditions

I'll start off by saying I can def grind out some fishing trips but when the wind is howling it really starts to aggravate me . I've always heard the rule of fishing the wind blown shorelines for ease of fishing and because bait gets pushed to it but do y'all have any other advice on fishing these windy days we've had lately ?? Structure to look for, currents or certain wTer types to find ? Anything would help lol
