I guess it couldn't hurt to ask. My boat radio has all of the usual AM/FM/CD plus satellite capabilities. Today when I turned it on it would not go to Sirius. When you go through the different modes, it usually cycles through until you see the Sirius logo and it plays.
The troubleshooting guide says check the antenna. My question is, if you never plugged the satellite antenna in, would it still go to the Sirius mode but just not play? Or does not having a functional antenna keep the radio from even going to the satellite mode.
I am trying to figure out if it's the radio or the antenna.
