Any way around Bass Assassin's fading/losing color?

Just curious to see if ya'll have any methods of keeping the color on your bass assassin soft plastics? After a wade and getting water in the packages they seem to fade and lose color by the next trip out. I use alot of Texas Roach and chicken on a chain but the roach is the worst. Thanks for any input
