POC area Question

My buddy and I will be down in the POC area this weekend. We usually fish out of Seadrift, but we can't seem to buy a bite there all summer with all the fresh water. We are going to try dewberry Saturday. If we don't have much luck Saturday, I think I have him convinced to try launching out of POC on Sunday. It is an 18' aluminum jon so I was hoping to get some tips for safer places we could get to around the POC area without having to cross a bay in deeper water. We are good with wading, probably throwing arti's only. Thanks.

what to do with old 2 cycle boat gas??

I have about 8 gal.s of 6 or 7 month old boat gas and dont know how to get rid
of it I did a search on here with "old boat gas" and "old gas" didnt find any
help I called Clear Lake West Marine and they didnt know either same when I called the City of Seabrook
If any body wants it free just call me 512 656 7879
I did put a little Stabil in it every time
Guess it would be good for killing weeds
