Retirement and saving

There have been threads about retirement and I just like to poll how much saving would be adequate for one to retire to live a life comfortably but not expensive?

Been on the ground here 3 days now,and I'm getting worried about my onions.Last year was a total wash-out on onions and cabbage when it got down under 20 degrees 3 days, but the ground was drier than a Kansas hay barn.Hoping the snow and moisture will save them,but not much hope.Reckon I'll have to go back to buying cheap onion sets from Lowes and Home Depot.Too expensive ordering from Dixondale and losing them to cold weather.Reckon I need to call Al Gore to see when I need to plant.

St Croix Rods

Went to the Fishing Show yesterday with the idea to buy a new bait casting rod. Checked out a number of great rods but never saw a St Croix booth. Wanted to look at the Inshore Legend series before making up my mind. Left without buying a new rod. Did St Croix have a booth at the Show?

problem with getting feet wet

I normally don't mind in the summer time but right now the water is very cold.

I own a 08 banshee extreme. So what can I do to help out?
