So my wife is out of town and calls me at 12:45 saying someone has hacked our Amazon account and is ordering stuff on our credit cards. We have 4 card associated with Amazon. In addition they changed the email address after they made the order so my wife got a confirmation. They are up to $1,000 that we know of, but now the orders are going to the other email. I'm on the phone with Amazon to freeze the account but they won't do it because the email address has changed several times and I don't have the most current email address. I've provided them all the information on the account and given them past orders to verify I am the owner. They see the account is active, they see my past orders and orders that are currently taking place, but they won't freeze the account because I don't have the current email address. Are you ****** kidding me!!! Just amazing. Now I've frozen our credit cards while my wife is out of town with now cash on her. Their solution...fill out a form and someone will contact me in 1-2 days to place a hold on the account. I'm completely disgusted right now.
